Ramasamy scams village folks out of money by leveraging their superstitious beliefs vested in a temple nearby. However, when the temple shuts down and he loses his income, he starts scheming on how to reopen it. After his plans fail, he decides to spread an epidemic across the village and play it off as an act of God.
